Aetherlily ('aether' meaning space, heaven), an pretty made-up word I created, dedicated to capturing my looks on camera along with documenting my travels and what inspires me. Basically a diary of pictures and text. I blog because while I do not work in the fashion industry, I just love fashion and dressing up. Who cares if there's already so many similar blogs out there!? I blog because I love it. I like to stand for petite bloggers who have difficulty finding their size. I also believe bringing pieces together, designer or thrifted, is an art. While juggling her academics to receive a doctorate degree, a part-time job, research projects, side job as a webdesigner (see portfolio here),and other after-school duties, she enjoys blogging as a hobby for her passion for fashion. Blogging has given so many wonderful opportunities such as being featured in a full-page advertorial of a Nylon magazine issue, styleTV correspondent during NYFW for Herve Leger (Photos / Video) and BCBG Max Azria (Photos / Video) shows, choosing out looks to walk the adidas Neo Label runway, invited as a guest speaker at the Teen Vogue Haute Spot, and preview the showrooms of collections like Camilla, Tt Collection, and Yosi Samra. |
