Last Days of Summer

 Simple outfit savoring the last few days of the summer sun. Wearing the fringe top I created from my DIY post! 
 Can't believe that it's already fashion week! Everyone is out and about while I'm still spending some quality time with the family (not a bad thing) and already trying to catch up with homework (boring). Everyone's been posting pictures on their blog of the fashion shows they have attended and it is making me jealous! I am still an amateur in fashion as I have only had my blog for about half a year compared to all those famous amazing bloggers out there, but I was so excited to receive my first invite to a show! Yigal Azrouel is having a spring 2012 presentation today (9/11) and I am so psyched about it but unfortunately I can not attend. My parents don't want me traveling to the city today as we all know that it is 9/11 and it will be crowded, security will be everywhere, and there are threat alerts on the news. I'm sad that I won't be able to go but I hope next year I will get the chance! Will let you know more details and updates of my adventures during fashion week later though, as I do have plans to go to NY at least once to check out the excitement! Will also be attending the Teen Vogue Haute Spot event so say hi if you see me!
